Best Lawyers in America 2008 Names 22 Tonkon Torp Attorneys
10.4.2007
Twenty-two Tonkon Torp attorneys have been selected for inclusion in The Best Lawyers in America 2008, the oldest and most respected peer review publication in the legal profession.
Four of the Portland firm's attorneys were selected in more than one category of practice, and 10 of the lawyers have been listed for 10 or more consecutive years. New to the list this year are real estate attorneys Owen D. Blank and Morris J. Galen, intellectual property litigator Don H. Marmaduke, securities law partner Thomas P. Palmer, and mergers and acquisitions attorney Kurt W. Ruttum. Litigator Dan Skerritt, banking and corporate partner Ken Stephens, securities lawyer Ron Greenman and managing partner Michael M. Morgan each were listed in two categories.
"It is gratifying to be recognized by other lawyers for both the breadth and depth of legal skill and experience in the firm," said Morgan, chairman of Tonkon Torp's managing board. "Nearly a third of our attorneys were honored, and our commitment to excellence is strengthened by this acknowledgement."
These Tonkon Torp partners were recognized in The Best Lawyers in America 2008. Those named for 10 or more consecutive years are noted by an asterisk (*).
