Tonkon Torp Litigator Gives Advice on Using Experts

The Oregon Association of Defense Counsel has invited Tonkon Torp litigator Daniel Skerritt to participate on a panel discussion entitled "Making the Most of Your Expert." The panel will cover how to choose experts to support a case and how to prepare them to effectively present their findings in reports, deposition and trial testimony.The May 10 event will be held at the Tonkon Torp offices.
Skerritt, a partner in Tonkon Torp's Litigation Department, has represented plaintiffs and defendants in complex commercial litigation for 35 years. He chairs the American College of Trial Lawyers' Oregon chapter and is a fellow in the International Society of Barristers.
For the fifth consecutive year, Skerritt was selected as one of the top-tier litigation attorneys in Oregon by Chambers USA: America's Leading Lawyers for Business.
