Neuman Discusses Oregon’s New Integrated Water Rights Strategy

Tonkon Torp’s Janet Neuman, recognized as one of the Pacific Northwest’s foremost water policy experts, will speak at the February 14 meeting of the Cascade chapter of the Northwest Environmental Business Council (NEBC). She joins Alyssa Mucken of the Oregon Water Resources Department in discussing the current status of Oregon’s Integrated Water Resources Strategy and its likely impacts on water users.
Neuman works with attorneys in Tonkon Torp’s Water Law Practice Group who handle water rights transactions, water project development, permitting and litigation of water rights disputes for both government entities and private sector clients. Past president of the Oregon Water Trust and a former professor and Associate Dean of Faculty at Lewis & Clark Law School, Neuman is frequent speaker and writer on water law and policy. She is the author of Oregon Water Law: A Comprehensive Treatise on the Law of Water and Water Rights in Oregon.
