4.10.2013
Tonkon Torp water lawyers Peter Mohr and Janet Neuman are co-chairs and panel moderators for the 8th annual water law conference, “The Future of Water Supply & Management in the Pacific Northwest,” scheduled for April 17 at the World Trade Center in Portland.
The day-long conference, which will provide information and analysis about the region’s water resources, is geared for government officials, landowners and developers, agency regulatory staff, water system operators, conservationists and legal professionals. Mohr and Neuman will provide an overview of the issues and then moderate a series of panel discussions covering topics including water and economic development, legislative proposals, funding challenges and strategies, seeking efficiencies in infrastructure management, and emerging issues in water development.
Mohr and Neuman are members of Tonkon Torp’s Water Law practice group, which handles water rights transactions, water project development, permitting and litigation of water rights disputes for both government entities and private sector clients.
Mohr’s legal practice covers matters ranging from environmental regulatory compliance to energy facility siting and operation to natural resource acquisition and development.
