Max Miller Continues to Lead Sustainability Initiatives within the Legal Profession

Tonkon Torp environmental lawyer Max M. Miller, Jr. has been appointed to serve on the Executive Committee of the Oregon State Bar’s Sustainable Future Section. The Section supports sustainability within the Oregon legal profession through educational programs, examining the integration of law and sustainability, and facilitating dialogue about the needs and interests of future generations.
Miller is a founding member of Oregon Lawyers for a Sustainable Future and has a long record of encouraging and leading sustainability initiatives within his firm, in the community and on behalf of clients. The Oregon State Bar recently honored him with the President’s Sustainability Award in recognition of his “significant contributions to the goal of sustainability in the legal profession in Oregon.” He was also recognized by the Sustainable Future Section with a Sustainable Leadership Award in 2011.
