Haley Morrison Elected Chair of Playworks Pacific Northwest Board

Tonkon Torp attorney Haley Miller Morrison has been elected Chair of the Board of Directors of Playworks Pacific Northwest. Morrison joined the Board in October 2015.
Playworks Pacific Northwest is the regional arm to a national nonprofit dedicated to increasing the health and well-being of children by increasing opportunities for physical activity and safe, meaningful play. Playworks' coaches teach the values of inclusion and respect, while helping children develop critical social and emotional skills.
This year, Playworks Pacific Northwest will serve more than 60,000 kids in 150 schools. Nationally, Playworks will serve more than 700,000 students. By the end of the year 2020, Playworks hopes to reach 250,000 kids in the Pacific Northwest and 3.5 million children nationwide.
A member of Tonkon Torp’s Labor & Employment practice group, Morrison provides counsel to employers on a wide variety of matters, including discrimination, retaliation, harassment, and wage-and-hour issues, in both single plaintiff and class action litigation. She is a Portland native and an all-around sports enthusiast.
