Robert Koch Joins Advisory Board of Camp Kesem
11.28.2018
Tonkon Torp attorney Robert Koch has joined the Advisory Board of Camp Kesem at the University of Oregon. Kesem is a national organization that provides free summer camps and community events to children impacted by a parent's cancer. Kesem provides these opportunities through local chapters organized and led by college students.
"When my brother was fighting his battle with brain cancer, Camp Kesem provided his kids with a supportive, life-changing experience," shared Koch. "I am honored to join Oregon's Advisory Board to help other kids experience the magic of Kesem."
Koch joined Tonkon Torp in 2018 as Chair of the Appellate Practice Group and handles cases in state and federal courts of appeals. Prior to joining the firm, he worked in the U.S. Department of Justice in Washington, D.C., as part of its Civil Rights Division. He spent five years as a Senior Attorney in the Division's Appellate Section and five years as an Honors Attorney in its Special Litigation Section.
