Tim provides support to Tonkon Torp's Estate Planning Practice Group. He assists with all aspects of estate planning including document preparation and asset transfer, probate and trust administration, preparation of gift tax returns, and federal and various state estate tax returns. Prior to moving to Portland, Tim was an estate and trust attorney in Maryland and was a member of both the Baltimore County Estate Planning Council and the Estates & Trusts Committee of the Baltimore City Bar Association.
Tim got his undergraduate degree at Goucher College, graduating with distinction and honors — his studies focused on Chinese language and modern Asian history. Tim then attended the University of Maryland School of Law where he graduated cum laude. Prior to practicing law, he interned at the Internal Revenue Service and Baltimore City Probate Court.
In his spare time, Tim enjoys hiking, kayaking, and exploring wine county.
